'To stay in the running, we have to run much faster', says Seidenstücker. 'Events are taking an increasing share of the total marketing budget, in particular at the expense of traditional advertising, eventually we are getting the attention of senior management, and now it’s the time when we have to prove our worth.'

Op het eerste European Event Summit, geinitieerd door Netty Thines van het Luxemburgse eventbureau Mediation, werd onder meer gesproken over ROI, meeting architecture, sustainable events, hybrid events en multi-sensory communication. Volgend jaar staat het tweede event summit gepland op 31 augustus.
